CAPOEIRA PANAME

As leader of this project, it is one of the oldest capoeira associations in France. It was in the 1970s that Mestre Beija Flôr discovered capoeira at the age of 14 with Master Sombra, who passed on his knowledge to him for more than 40 years. In 1989, Beija Flor moved to Paris where he began teaching capoeira. With the help of his students, he created the Capoeira Paname Association, whose main concern is to transmit the art of Capoeira in its entirety, in all its beauty and in all its aspects: Sport, dance, wrestling, body expression, musical expression, playing and learning the rules, but also a philosophy of life, which implies respect for others and their environment, team spirit and self-control are paramount.   The Capoeira Paname association is also at the origin of several structures, created over time by graduate students of the Master.
